Typical process
Monitors and PCs after an equipment refresh
Identical office monitors and PCs from a hardware refresh: serial number list, condition and accessories, with data erasure handled by the seller.
A typical process for orientation, not a customer project. Quantities, condition and timing differ from lot to lot.
Starting point
A company replaces the IT equipment in its offices. The old monitors and PCs are mostly the same models in series, and they have to leave the premises. Storing them would only tie up space.
A typical lot
- Office monitors of the same model
- Desktop PCs from the same series
- Accessories such as keyboards, mice and power cables
- Devices in similar condition, with serial numbers listed

How the process runs
- 01
Enquiry with a serial number list
The company sends a list with models, quantities and serial numbers, describes condition and accessories and says whether the data has been erased.
- 02
Valuation and offer
Within 24 hours there is a non-binding valuation. Identical models and a clear list make the lot easy to assess. Price and conditions are set down in writing.
- 03
Payment after invoice
After invoicing, payment follows by bank transfer within 48 hours.
- 04
Collection
Collection is arranged within 3 working days of the agreement, with transport included. The devices are handed over on pallets or in cartons.
What matters
- Data erasure is the seller’s responsibility. Erase all storage before handover and note it in the list.
- List model, serial number, condition and accessories.
- Group devices by model: identical series are the easiest to value.
- Mention cosmetic wear and missing parts.
Questions about this scenario
The seller. Please state in the enquiry whether the devices have already been erased. We clarify the next steps in our offer.
It is not mandatory, but it speeds up the valuation and makes the handover easier to check.
